We have been reading the story 'Smarty Pants' by Joy Cowley.  We loved the story so much and can all read it now!  We have made our own smarty pants pictures to go with our stories.

Exploring our Environment

We have been exploring out beautiful school environment and playing on all of the amazing playground equipment.

School BBQ

On Tuesday we had a school BBQ so that teachers, students and families could all come together and get to know each other.  It was a great evening with fantastic food, a balloon man and even some live entertainment.  Everyone who cam had a great time.

Meet the Children in Pod 3

In Pod 3 we have 8 students and we have had an amazing first week of school getting to know each other.  We have been learning all about school and having a great time together.  We have been writing, reading, counting, painting, swimming and so much more.  Come in and see the work we have been doing, our class is beginning to look fantastic with all of our work on the walls.

Meet Paddington Bear!

Paddington bear is the class mascot for Pod Three this year.  He will be spending time with the children in class as well as in the playground and at home.  Paddington is a travelling bear and enjoys visiting new places very much.  Each week he will be looking for a superstar from Pod Three that he can go home with for the weekend.  He brings books, games and movies to share with your children, if you wish to learn more about Paddington Bear please visit his website. http://www.paddington.com/nz/home/
